217. Australian Beach Ultimate Championships

This year the tournament was much smaller, probably because it moved to three days. We were possibly the strongest we had ever been, but most of the teams that didn’t come back were from lower down the ladder, so our result was pretty similar to 2018.

For the first time ever for a Coolangatta tournament, the party was a bit shit. It was at a bowlo, and we didn’t last there long. We were back at the apartment in Points North drinking and playing Dance Party on Chirlin’s Switch in no time. It was a great team vibe, and we didn’t need the party to have a great time, but it was still a shame that another Australian tournament party lost its flair.
