We stayed in Newcastle and drove half an hour to the fields each day. The team was pretty strong, with some young Colombians and other DUFF youngsters to round out the team. We beat two Bench teams and Manly, who were all reasonably good. We also had a very close game against Fyshwick, going down by 3 or so. The highlight was the Stout beer tasting event back at the accommodation. Baker brought a bunch of fancy beers and we tried and rated and argued about them, and got drunk. Good times.
