233. NSW Ultimate Championships

Yass is a bit rubbish, but it was a great weekend away. Good rooms, good pool, good policeman who told us to scull our beers because we were in a drink free zone. We lost consecutive games to Bench teams to get knocked out of the top 8. The second game was on universe point with us starting on O, so that was a bit disappointing. We drank a fair bit Saturday night and came out like a herd of turtles against a weak Kronk team Sunday morning. Won it 15-5, but it didn't look pretty. We stepped up for the next game and played hard against Ironbark, and won it. The ninal was against a very athletic Canberra team. They took half fairly convincingly, but we found a good zone defence and won it.
