251. Sheep Station Classic

A fun one day event in Orange between Dubbo, Orange, and Blue Mountains. Blue Mountains hate subs, so decided to split the team of 8 men and 8 women into two teams of 8. We had a couple of drop outs, so had to pick up Brendan and Clare's son Elliot, and the Goldy's son Marcus. They were both young but actually pretty handy. Marcus especially. It was a tough day with basically no subs, but it was fun. The only blowout game was against the other Blue Mountains team, because the teams were very uneven after the drop outs. Otherwise we had a draw against Dubbo and lost by a few to Orange. Afterwards we went to the pub for a few drinks, then Kat drove me out to Lake Canobolas. I camped there overnight in the hammock, then walked to a winery the next day.
