I caught the train to Tuggerah with Glenn, Richard, and Sean. We met up with Glenn’s family at dinner on Friday night. The draw was 2 pools of 6, with 5 round robin games then a final. All of our games were a battle. We beat Kronk and Fyshwick Unit Y (they split into two even teams this year) by about 3, then U-Beam surprised us and were up on us 7-6 before we went on a run and won 15-8. Saturday night was fun but a small night. We watched the women’s showcase game over beers before going to the Mexican restaurant at The Entrance for dinner, which was great. Then back home for beers and in bed by 10:30. On Sunday, Zephyr played well against us but we beat them 14-8. We played outstandingly against NSU to come up 10-8, which put us in the final against Equinox. By then it was a bit windy.
